Behind the Music
The focus of Advent this week was the unbelievable reality of the incarnation. Stop and ponder the incarnation for just a moment. In the beginning of time, God created mankind in his own image. He then gave us the simple command to love and trust Him. This command was displayed by asking Adam and Eve not to eat fruit from a tree. It seems like a simple request for a created being to trust his Creator, but we didn't trust. We stuck his request in his face and went our own way. Then God, the very creator, became part of his creation in the person of Jesus from Nazareth. God with us. He did this to set His plan of the redemption of man into place. The song below explored this theme. Check it out! You can also learn more about Sovereign Grace Ministries' entire project here.
